ROLE OF THE PARISH COUNCIL
The Parish Council consists of 12 members. Four ex-officio, four appointed and four elected councillors.
Ex-officio councillors are the Parish Priest, Assistant Priest, the Pastoral Care Coordinator and the Principal of the Parish Primary School.
The Parish Council is an advisory body to the Parish and Assistant Priests and assists in the running of the Parish; providing additional resources and a forum for discussion/input by the Parishioners.
COUNCIL MEETINGS AND MINUTES
The Council meets on the first Sunday of the month at 7:15pm at the Presbytery. Parishioners are invited to submit items for discussion.
Any Parishioner may attend a Council meeting and, with the leave of and prior notice to the Chairperson, be heard.
Minutes from the previous month's meeting will be displayed on church notice board in the foyer.
